- Banks v Goodfellow (1870) for testamentary capacity
- Re Beaney (1978) for lifetime gifting
- PA14 Medical Certificate for Probate
- A MoCA examination
The assessment is individual to you, so we ensure you get a unique service and therefore a unique fee will apply. We may charge a higher fee if the assessment is complex, requires multiple assessments or visits or requires comprehensive consultation with other health or care professionals in your case. All our assessments include the following as standard:
- A face-to-face (Covid-19 dependent) meeting with the person being assessed (typically 1 - 2 hours)
- Consultation with any family members or professionals concerned with your care.
- Your assessment is returned free via email within 5 working days from the assessment date (excluding where additional evidence is required). A printed 'wet' signature and/or posted assessment is subject to an additional postage and admin fee.
- A formal legal deceleration as to the report's independence and the author's qualifications.
- Reduced rate for follow-up work, such as the professional witness or Certificate Provider for a Power of Attorney.
- Reduced fee for seeking a Lasting Power of Attorney via our service.
